:: About Us ::
Delights
by Irlandesa offers scrumptious home-made, preservative-free
goodies to satisfy your sweet tooth. While we offer
conventionally-sweetened products, we take special pride in our
sugar-free delights for weight-watchers and the health conscious.
It
all started in 2006, when sisters
Iris and
Jack Guerrero
committed to an endeavor that would make use of their specific
talents. Those being Iris’ baking skills and Jack’s knack for
business.
And
so armed with their modest savings and some great products, the
Guerrero sisters established Delights by Irlandesa from their
home in Quezon City. They did so, undaunted by the seeming saturation
of the cakes and pastries market because they had great products to
offer.

::
Iris Guerrero recently completed a three-month course on
Pastry Arts at the International School for Culinary Arts & Hotel
Management and a short course on Bakery Production at the Maya Kitchen
Culinary Arts Center.
She developed a passion
for baking and cooking even before taking-up B.S. Hotel and Restaurant
Administration at the University of the Philippines, from which she
graduated in 1999.
After a 5-year stint
working for legislature, Iris decided to risk it all in pursuit of an
enduring dream… offering exquisite baked products to a select few who
can appreciate them.
Jack Guerrero currently is an account officer at JCG
Petron Service Station in Laon Laan, Q.C. Prior to this, she had a
short stint in real estate sales where she initially put through the
paces her degree in B.S. Management from the Ateneo .
Always dipping her
fingers into one sort of business venture or another, Jack decided to
embark on a business venture with her sister—one that she hopes would
be for the long-haul.
